Our client is an internationally renowned organisation, and is a leading institution in its field. Due to the growing importance of procurement within the organisation, they are looking to improve the current team and are looking for an experienced buyer.
This position will be varied. You will be contributing to a diverse, unique organisation. This is a challenging role as the Purchasing Department is a young, vibrant department and as such, are looking for people who can really make a difference in the procurement process.
To be able to make a significant impact in this role, you must:
• Have excellent general purchasing experience
• Have the ability to grasp challenges quickly
• Be able to work autonomously
• Be able to use your own initiative
• Be able to sell yourself and the Procurement function
• Have exceptional influencing skills
• Be ambitious, enthusiastic, and most importantly be hard working
• You must be able to communicate and influence at all levels
• Some experience within Facilities procurement would be an advantage, however attitude and ability are more important
• Minimum of CIPS level 4 a must
