The Client:
Our client is a UK based health charity. They pride themselves on their high level of customer service, with their core focus on maintaining their customers happiness whilst expanding their brand. This client is looking for a Buyer to join their team. 

The Role:
-To ensure all records relevant to area of responsibility are maintained, managed and reported accurately and in accordance with required procedures and timescales.
-To implement strategic sourcing methodology for agreed portfolio
-To identify, manage and implement sourcing group strategies and deliver against their targeted benefits.
-To evaluate markets and sources of supply across agreed product/service portfolio
-To advise on and where appropriate, challenge requests / decisions through detailed product knowledge.
-To deliver product/service standardisation for agreed portfolio.
-To draft and negotiate agreements with suppliers ensuring that proper legal principles are applied.
-To assess operational risks of current and potential supply opportunities.

The Candidate:
-A minimum of 1 - 2 years experience working within a similar role.
-Good IT and keyboard skills.
-Good organisation and analytical skills. 
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-A good standard of general education with proven literacy and numeracy.
-Educated to degree level or equivalent.
-Working towards CIPS qualification.
